Bollywood BigB Amitabh Bachchan and his son Abhishek Bachchan has been tested positive for Covid-19 and been sent to the hospital today late in the evening.
Both shared this news on their Twitter account.

Amitabh Bachchan has been admitted to Nanavati hospital in Mumbai.
Earlier today both my father and I tested positive for COVID 19. Both of us having mild symptoms have been admitted to hospital. We have informed all the required authorities and our family and staff are all being tested. I request all to stay calm and not panic. Thank you. 🙏🏽

Amitabh Bachchan was one of the few actors who worked with the government on the Covid-19 awareness ad campaigns.
Saturday morning Bollywood’s evergreen actress Rekha’s home was sealed by the BMC after her home staff tests positive for Covid-19.
Earlier Karan Johar, Janhavi Kapoor, and Aamir Khan also announced that their staff has been tested for Covid-19.
